In the heart of the Dordogne wine region, the Pécharmant, and not far from Monbazillac, La Bastide du Roy is also close to Saint Emilion and its large estates.
The house offering Gîtes and Bed and Breakfast is a magnificent 18th century Bastide, typical of Périgord, built around 15th and 16th century houses. The residence consists of a main building flanked by two pavilions. The other wing, topped with a La Mansart roof, is a beautiful outbuilding which was once used as stables. The name comes from the Roy River which crosses our domain.
La Bastide du Roy has been renovated, while keeping the authenticity and character of the building, to make it a pleasant and comfortable place to stop and stay in Bed and Breakfast or Gîtes.
