> ABOUT US Located at Villamblard, a small village at the heart of the Périgord, La Bastide du Roy is an ideal stop to discover this great region. La Bastide du Roy is half-way of Périgueux and Bergerac, and near the most famous touristic sites such as Sarlat, the Eyzies, Dôme,… La Bastide du Roy is also on Compostelle’s track, so you can take the opportunity to discover the numerous hiking trails. Our house is an old mansion from the XVIIIth century, built around foundations from the XVth and XVIth centuries. You will surely appreciate the old and typical constructions of La Bastide. We have renovated La Bastide dy Roy keeping the authenticity and character of the ancient building to offer you a great place to stop and rest. For you, there are 5 B&B Rooms of high standing and nicely decorated with beams on the ceiling and view on the garden. Also there are 2 charming Self-Catering Gîtes designed to give you the best comfort and convenience.    For your amusement and an even more enjoyable stay, there is a swimming-pool open and nice and flowery gardens, and underbush. (playground for kids). At La Bastide du Roy, we welcome you all year-long.
