> ACTIVITIES At La Bastide du Roy you will enjoy: - Our swimming-pool (12mx5m) to relax and get the best of the nice weather. If it starts raining, don’t worry, a mobile shelter will cover the swimming-pool to allow you to keep swimming. The swimming-pool is open from april to November. - Playing area for the kids (seesaw, slide, sandbox) - Games, Bicycles, balls,…     Near La Bastide du Roy :  - Discover the various hiking trails (GR), do not hesitate to ask us for information and advice - Visit the Raymond Clovis Distillerie in the village, and taste liqueurs and eau-de-vie made in a traditional way - Visit the great Castle of Montréal - Tennis, Golf, Horse-riding in the village Périgord is a very nice region rich in history, culture and gastronomy (wine, foie gras, chestnut oil,…). Near the most famous sites of the Périgord, La Bastide du Roy is an ideal stay to visit Bergerac (~20 km) and its great market, Périgueux (~25 km), Sarlat, Dôme, the Roque Gageac, the Eyzies, and the numerous middle-age castles of the region,… You can also discover and visit wine houses and domains which are producing the famous local wine (Pécharmant).     We will also inform you about fairs, “brocante” or other types of activities in the villages around.
